A Place to Belong will again be hosting two art therapists, Donna McDonald and Salam El-Merebi, to run an art and wellbeing group on five Fridays in February and March 2018.

Building community and bringing hope!
The Guiding Group’s purpose is to strengthen our vision, give direction to our work and help with the different aspects of our work.
Date: Thursday February 15, 2018
- 5:00pm for a shared meal and catch up
- 6:00-8:00pm for our main meeting
Venue: 69 Thomas Street, West End, Brisbane
- Share a meal together (bring food if you can).
- Hear from some people who will share experiences of how they are meeting people.
- Review our mission and vision about people meeting people.
- Meet Tim Barlott who is proposing some learning conversations with us about how people are meeting new people.

We asked three service users about their experiences of home. A Place to Belong held a forum on this issue as part of our Guiding Group. The resulting feedback was crafted into a national report and campaign by Anglicare at a national level to raise awareness in the community of the importance of housing and home for your mental health and wellbeing.
